Looking Beyond the EZ-DONGTENG Joe Jr 600D Kamado? 6 Alternatives Worth a Look

How these covers compare to EZ-DONGTENG

UHEGDRR 24-Inch Kamado Smoker Cover

The UHEGDRR 24-Inch Kamado Smoker Cover targets the larger Big Joe ceramic grill rather than the Joe Jr. It measures 37.8 inches wide and 55.1 inches high, offering significantly more coverage for bigger units. Like the EZ-DONGTENG option, it uses 600D fabric for durability and includes windproof features to keep the cover secure in breezy conditions. You should choose this if you own a 24-inch kamado instead of the 13.5-inch portable model. It provides similar waterproof protection but requires a larger footprint. The trade-off is that it will not fit your smaller grill snugly, leaving gaps that reduce weather resistance.

Kamado Joe Big Joe 24-Inch Waterproof Grill Cover

The Kamado Joe Big Joe 24-Inch Waterproof Grill Cover is designed exclusively for the 24-inch Big Joe ceramic grill. Its dimensions are listed as 4 inches wide, 12 inches high, and 10 inches long, which suggests a compact packaging size or specific component fitment rather than full exterior coverage dimensions. It weighs 2.75 pounds and is made of polyester. This cover is intended for owners of the larger Kamado Joe units who need a straightforward, waterproof barrier. It differs from the EZ-DONGTENG cover by targeting a completely different appliance size. You should pick this if you have the Big Joe, as the EZ-DONGTENG cover will not fit the larger diameter or height of that grill.

iCOVER 60 Inch Offset Smoker Cover

The iCOVER 60 Inch Offset Smoker Cover is built for large offset charcoal smokers, not kamado grills. It measures 60 inches long, 28 inches wide, and 37.5 inches high, providing ample space for elongated smoker designs. It uses 600D fabric and includes wind-resistant straps for secure fitting. This cover is ideal if you cook with a horizontal offset smoker rather than a vertical ceramic kamado. It gives up the compact, vertical fit required for kamado shapes. You should choose this if your cooking equipment has a different form factor. The EZ-DONGTENG cover is tailored for the round, egg-shaped design of kamado grills, while this cover accommodates the rectangular profile of offset smokers.

Comnova 600D Cover for Char-Griller AKORN

The Comnova 600D Cover for Char-Griller AKORN is specifically shaped for the Char-Griller AKORN kamado grill, including models like 16620. It measures 36 inches wide and 51 inches high, offering a snug fit for that specific brand. It uses 600D fabric with UV resistance and velcro straps for secure coverage. This cover is better if you own a Char-Griller AKORN, as the EZ-DONGTENG cover is sized for the Kamado Joe Jr. It gives up compatibility with your Joe Jr grill. You should pick this if your appliance is a Char-Griller model. The dimensions ensure full coverage for the AKORN shape, whereas the EZ-DONGTENG cover would be too small for the Char-Griller unit.

ZJYWSCH 600D Cover for Ooni Koda 2 Pro

The ZJYWSCH 600D Cover for Ooni Koda 2 Pro is designed for the 18-inch gas pizza oven, not charcoal kamado grills. It uses 600D polyester and includes secure straps for weather-resistant storage. The cover is lightweight at 1.09 pounds and fits the portable gas oven form factor. This option is superior if you cook with gas-powered pizza ovens rather than charcoal kamados. It gives up the protection needed for ceramic charcoal grills. You should choose this if your primary cooking appliance is an Ooni Koda 2 Pro. The EZ-DONGTENG cover is tailored for the specific dimensions and shape of the Kamado Joe Jr, making it unsuitable for the different profile of the gas pizza oven.

M Comnova 600D Camp Chef FTG600 Griddle Cover

The M Comnova 600D Camp Chef FTG600 Griddle Cover is built for the Camp Chef FTG600 flat top griddle. It measures 63.5 inches long, 22 inches wide, and 36 inches high, accommodating the large rectangular shape of the griddle. It uses 600D fabric with waterproof properties and is designed for outdoor camping use. This cover is better if you own a flat top griddle instead of a kamado grill. It gives up the vertical protection required for ceramic kamados. You should pick this if your cooking equipment is a Camp Chef griddle. The EZ-DONGTENG cover is sized for the 13.5-inch Joe Jr, while this cover is tailored for the elongated dimensions of the flat top griddle.
