Who should skip it
Skip this if you have a different pizza oven model. The data specifies compatibility only with the Gozney Roccbox. The dimensions are fixed for that appliance. Key specs explained for this cover
Dimensions: 23" L x 18" W x 13" H
These measurements define the physical envelope of the cover. You must verify that your Gozney Roccbox fits within these limits before buying. A tight fit prevents wind from lifting the cover, while loose dimensions may allow rain to seep in. This size ensures the shell fully encloses the oven body and handles for complete protection against the elements.
Fabric Density: 420D
The 420D rating indicates the thickness and durability of the outer cloth. Higher denier counts generally mean better resistance to tears and abrasion. This fabric density helps the cover withstand rough handling during storage or transport. It provides a sturdy barrier against scratches from outdoor furniture or debris, ensuring the material lasts longer than thinner alternatives.
UV Protection: 50+ PU coating
The 50+ PU silver inner coating blocks nearly all ultraviolet radiation. UV rays degrade plastics and fade metals over time. This high protection level slows the aging process of your oven's exterior finish. It is essential for outdoor gear exposed to direct sunlight daily. This feature helps maintain the structural integrity and appearance of your appliance across many seasons.
Waterproof Lining: PU silver inner coating
This lining creates a waterproof barrier between the outer fabric and your oven. It prevents moisture from penetrating the material during rain or snow. The silver inner layer also reflects heat and enhances UV blocking. This dual function keeps your pizza oven dry and protected from sun damage. It is a critical feature for preserving the condition of your outdoor cooking equipment.
Closure Type: Adjustable drawstring
The bottom drawstring allows you to tighten the cover around the oven base. This feature secures the shell against wind, preventing it from blowing away. An adjustable closure ensures a snug fit regardless of minor variations in the oven's shape. It adds stability during gusty conditions. This simple mechanism is vital for keeping the cover in place without additional straps or weights.
Design and build specs
The listing states the cover is constructed from 420D fabric. This fabric density provides tear resistance and durability for outdoor use. The material is described as waterproof, dustproof, and UV-protected. You should expect this to shield the oven from rain and debris when not in use.
An inner coating of 50+ PU silver blocks 99.99% of UV rays. According to the listing, this layer prevents sun damage and slows aging. The exterior is black. Reflective strips are included for safety during nighttime handling. An air vent allows internal air circulation to reduce moisture buildup inside the cover.
The layout includes a bottom drawstring closure. This adjustable feature secures the cover to the grill body. It is designed to remain fastened in windy conditions. The dimensions are 23 inches long, 18 inches wide, and 13 inches high. You must confirm your Gozney Roccbox fits these limits. A proper fit ensures the protective shell stays in place and does not flap in the wind. The model number is EVPOGGO172U. This build focuses on weather protection and secure storage for your portable oven.
Setup and daily use guide
Setting up this cover involves matching the listed dimensions to your appliance. The listing specifies a size of 23 inches long, 18 inches wide, and 13 inches high. You must confirm your Gozney Roccbox fits within these limits. A proper fit ensures the fabric does not flap or leave gaps. The cover uses an adjustable drawstring at the bottom. You pull this cord to tighten the seal around the oven base. This mechanism secures the cover against wind. It prevents the shell from lifting during gusty conditions. Daily use requires placing the cover over the cooled oven. The 420D fabric provides a durable outer layer. It resists tears from routine handling. The PU silver inner coating blocks UV rays. This feature slows material aging when the oven sits in sunlight. Air vents are integrated into the design. They allow internal air circulation to reduce moisture buildup. Reflective strips are present on the exterior. These enhance visibility during nighttime setup or removal. You should store the cover in a dry place when not in use. The material is waterproof and dustproof. This protects the oven from rain and debris. Ensure the drawstring is fully tightened before leaving the oven outdoors. The cover is compatible only with the Gozney Roccbox. Do not attempt to fit it on other models. The listing includes only the cover itself. No additional accessories are mentioned. Regularly check the fabric for wear. The 50+ PU coating maintains its protective qualities if the surface remains intact. This setup ensures long-term protection for your equipment.
Before You Buy This Cover
Owning this cover requires careful attention to fitment. You must verify that your Gozney Roccbox dimensions align with the listed 23 by 18 by 13 inches. A mismatch leaves parts exposed to weather. Keep the fabric clean to maintain its water resistance. Dust and debris can clog the air vents, reducing circulation. Store the cover indoors during extreme storms to extend its lifespan. This accessory fits into the broader category of Pizza Ovens, Griddles & Outdoor Cooking gear. It complements the oven but does not replace it. You need the oven itself to cook. This cover is purely protective. Consider your storage space. If you use the oven daily, you will put this on and take it off frequently. The drawstring helps secure it in wind. Check the reflective strips for visibility at night. This item is a specialized add-on. It does not function as a cooking surface. It only shields your investment. Ensure you buy the correct size variant from the available options. The brand offers other covers for different models. Stick to the Roccbox specific version for proper protection.
