Looking Beyond the i COVER Carry Cover Ooni Karu? 6 Alternatives Worth a Look

Comparing i COVER to these alternatives

ZJYWSCH Cover for Ooni Karu 12

The ZJYWSCH cover targets the 12-inch Ooni Karu, whereas the i COVER model is sized for the 16-inch version. You must check your oven diameter before choosing. This alternative uses 600D fabric, which matches the density of many premium covers, ensuring solid weather resistance. It measures 32 inches long by 16.5 inches wide, fitting the smaller footprint precisely. The i COVER option includes a dedicated carry bag and buckled straps for secure transport. The ZJYWSCH listing shows only the cover itself. If you own the smaller 12-inch model, this is the correct fit. For the 16-inch oven, stick with the i COVER for its included accessories and tailored dimensions.

Blackhoso Leggero Pizza Oven Carry Bag

This Blackhoso bag is designed for the Blackstone 2238 Leggero, not the Ooni Karu. It serves a different appliance entirely. The product specs list dimensions of 1x1x1 inches, which likely refers to packaging or a data error, but the weight is listed at 13.4 ounces. It features 600D fabric and waterproof protection, similar to the i COVER construction. However, it lacks the specific sizing for your Ooni Karu 16. The i COVER includes a carry bag and buckled straps for wind resistance. This alternative is a portable case for a different brand. Choose this only if you are protecting a Blackstone unit. For Ooni owners, the i COVER provides the necessary snug fit and secure attachment points for your specific oven model.

Mont Alpi Water-Resistant Pizza Oven Carry Bag

The Mont Alpi bag is built for the Mont Alpi MAPZ portable pizza oven. It is not compatible with the Ooni Karu 16. The dimensions are 18 inches wide by 20 inches high by 19 inches long. It weighs 4 pounds. This cover is designed to hold a pizza stone and peel, offering organized storage for that specific system. The i COVER is a simple shell with a carry bag and buckled straps. It does not have internal compartments for accessories. If you use a Mont Alpi oven, this bag provides a tailored fit. For the Ooni Karu 16, the i COVER is the appropriate choice. It ensures a weather-tight seal without the bulk of an accessory-packed case designed for a different appliance.

iCOVER 29-Inch Round Grill and Smoker Cover

This i COVER product is a 29-inch round grill cover, intended for kettle grills and vertical smokers. It is not a pizza oven cover. The dimensions are 29 inches wide by 29 inches long and 38 inches high. It fits 22-inch Weber grills. The i COVER for the Ooni Karu 16 is a rectangular shell with buckled straps. The round cover lacks the specific shape needed for your pizza oven. It also does not include a carry bag for the oven itself. If you have a charcoal kettle grill, this round cover offers waterproof and UV protection. For the Ooni Karu 16, you need the rectangular design and strap system of the original product. This item serves a completely different cooking tool.

SunPatio 55-Inch Waterproof Grill Cover

The SunPatio cover is a 55-inch grill cover for standard gas grills. It measures 55 inches long by 23 inches wide and 42 inches high. It weighs 3.5 pounds. This size is far too large for the Ooni Karu 16. It is designed to drape over a large, multi-burner gas grill. The i COVER is a snug-fitting shell with buckled straps and a carry bag. The SunPatio option is a loose-fitting cover for a different appliance category. It does not offer the secure fit required for a portable pizza oven. If you have a large gas grill, this cover provides reliable waterproofing. For the Ooni Karu 16, the i COVER ensures a tight seal and easy transport. This alternative is not suitable for your specific oven.

QuliMetal Searwood XL 600 Pellet Grill Cover

This QuliMetal cover is made for the Weber Searwood XL 600 pellet grill. It is not compatible with the Ooni Karu 16. The specs list a length of 10 inches, which likely refers to packaging. It uses 600D fabric for durability and weather resistance. The i COVER for the Ooni Karu 16 is a rectangular cover with buckled straps and a carry bag. This alternative is a shell for a pellet grill. It lacks the specific dimensions and attachment points for your pizza oven. If you own a Weber Searwood XL 600, this cover provides a robust shield. For the Ooni Karu 16, the i COVER is the correct choice. It ensures a weather-tight fit and includes the necessary accessories for safe transport and storage.
