PasWith vs M Comnova Grill Cover
Fabric density
The PasWith 58-Inch cover uses 1000D oxford fabric, which is a high-density material designed for heavy-duty protection. The manufacturer states this fabric is twice as thick as regular options and outlasts 210D, 420D, and PE materials. In contrast, the M Comnova Outdoors cover is made from 600D oxford fabric. While still described as heavy-duty, the 600D rating indicates a lower thread density compared to the 1000D option. If you prioritize maximum tear resistance and material thickness for harsh conditions, the PasWith build offers a clear advantage in durability specifications.
Waterproofing method
Both covers prioritize keeping your grill dry, but they use different construction methods to achieve this. The PasWith model features a dual-layered fabric with sealed seam tape, providing double leak protection against rain and storms. The M Comnova cover relies on a waterproof PU coating applied to the premium oxford fabric, combined with double-stitched seams. Both approaches are effective for outdoor use, but the sealed seam tape on the PasWith cover offers a specific technical detail for leak prevention that differs from the coated fabric approach of the M Comnova option.
Closure system
Securing the cover against wind is critical for long-term protection. The PasWith grill cover uses reinforced adjustable straps on each side to fasten snugly to the grill. This strap system helps prevent the cover from blowing away even on windy days. The M Comnova cover utilizes adjustable velcro magic bands on each side to tighten the fit. Velcro allows for quick adjustments and a secure hold, while straps offer a different mechanical fastening method. Both systems are designed to keep the cover in place, giving you reliable options for securing your gear.
Ventilation features
Air circulation helps prevent moisture buildup inside the cover, which can damage your grill over time. The PasWith cover includes a dedicated air vent designed to let moisture escape while avoiding external moisture entry. This feature helps keep the grill dry and ready for use. The product data for the M Comnova cover does not mention a specific air vent or ventilation system. If proper airflow is a key requirement for your maintenance routine, the PasWith design provides a specific feature that the M Comnova listing does not confirm.
Target compatibility
Each cover is engineered for specific grill types, so matching the size and shape is essential. The PasWith cover measures 58 inches wide, 25 inches deep, and 44.5 inches high, fitting Weber Genesis II and Genesis 300 series grills up to 56 inches wide. The M Comnova cover measures 46 inches long, 23 inches wide, and 48.5 inches high, designed for Char-Griller barrel grills without a side fire box. These are distinct appliances with different dimensions, so your choice depends entirely on the specific model of grill you own.
Which Grill Cover Fits Your Setup?
Weber Genesis II or 300 owners
This cover is sized at 58 by 25 by 44.5 inches, matching your Weber Genesis II and 300 series grills. It uses 1000D oxford fabric for heavy-duty tear resistance. The sealed seams offer waterproof protection, while adjustable straps ensure a snug, windproof fit for your specific appliance.
Char-Griller barrel grill owners
This cover measures 46 by 23 by 48.5 inches, fitting Char-Griller barrel grills without a side fire box. It features 600D oxford fabric with a PU coating for waterproofing. Adjustable velcro bands secure the cover, and the material resists UV aging for at least three years of outdoor use.
Users wanting maximum fabric density
The PasWith cover uses 1000D fabric, which is thicker and more durable than the 600D option. This high-density oxford material provides superior tear resistance compared to lighter fabrics. You get double leak protection from sealed seams and UV resistance that withstands over three years of sun exposure.

Frequently asked questions
Does the PasWith cover fit a Weber Genesis II?
Yes, the PasWith 58-Inch cover is designed specifically for Weber Genesis II and older 300 series grills. Its dimensions are 58 inches in length, 25 inches in width, and 44.5 inches in height. This precise sizing ensures a secure fit for these specific models rather than offering universal compatibility.
Is the M Comnova cover suitable for barrel grills?
Yes, the M Comnova 46-Inch cover is built for Char-Griller barrel grills that do not have side fireboxes. It measures 46 inches long, 23 inches wide, and 48.5 inches high. This specialized shape targets charcoal barrel grills, providing targeted protection instead of general outdoor coverage.
Which grill cover has thicker fabric?
The PasWith cover uses 1000D fabric density, which is thicker than the M Comnova option. The M Comnova cover utilizes 600D fabric. The higher denier rating in the PasWith model suggests greater material density and potential durability for heavy-duty weather protection.
What is the color of these grill covers?
Both the PasWith and M Comnova covers are black. The PasWith model is listed as black, and the M Comnova option features a black colorway in its product description. This neutral color helps the covers blend into most outdoor kitchen environments.
Do these covers include any extra accessories?
No, both covers are sold as standalone items. The product data lists the included accessories for the PasWith cover as just the cover itself. Similarly, the M Comnova cover includes only the cover. You will not receive additional straps or tools with these purchases.
Can I use the M Comnova cover on a grill with a side firebox?
No, the M Comnova 46-Inch cover is explicitly designed for barrel grills without side fireboxes. Its dimensions and shape are tailored to fit the main barrel body only. Adding a side firebox would likely prevent the cover from fitting correctly or securely.
Which cover is better for a 58-inch grill?
The PasWith cover is the better choice for a 58-inch grill. It matches the 58-inch length exactly, along with 25-inch width and 44.5-inch height. The M Comnova cover is only 46 inches long, making it too small for most standard large grills.
