You might be looking for qulimetal heavy duty grill cover alternatives if the QuliMetal 53-Inch 600D model does not match your equipment. The QuliMetal cover fits Traeger Pro 34 and 780 grills with 600D polyester oxford fabric and PVC waterproof lining. It uses elastic drawstring straps for wind resistance and reflective strips for visibility. This specific design protects against rain, snow, and UV damage for those exact dimensions.

However, you may need a different size, shape, or fabric density. Some users prefer covers for round smokers, gas grills, or large griddles. The alternatives listed here were chosen because their specs overlap with the original in key areas like waterproofing, material strength, or secure fitment. Each option targets a specific appliance type, from Weber Genesis II units to Blackstone griddles. You can compare dimensions and fabric types to find the right shield for your outdoor cooking setup.

Our top pick: QuliMetal 53-Inch 600D Pellet Grill Cover.

Comparing grill cover specs

iCOVER 29-Inch Round Grill and Smoker Cover

The iCOVER 29-Inch Round Grill Cover targets a completely different shape than the QuliMetal rectangular cover. While the QuliMetal measures 53 inches long by 27 inches wide, this iCOVER model is circular with a 29-inch diameter and 38-inch height. It suits round grills and vertical smokers rather than the Traeger pellet grills the QuliMetal protects. The iCOVER offers waterproof protection for kettle-style appliances, making it a practical alternative if your equipment is not a large rectangular pellet grill. It lacks the specific elastic drawstring wind resistance of the QuliMetal but provides a secure fit for barrel-style units. You should choose this if your grill is round or vertical. The QuliMetal remains the better choice for Traeger Pro 34 and 780 models due to its precise 53-inch length and 49-inch height dimensions.

GuardKove 58-Inch 1000D Grill Cover

The GuardKove 58-Inch Grill Cover offers heavier fabric density than the QuliMetal model. It uses 1000D polyester compared to the QuliMetal's 600D oxford fabric. This higher density suggests greater tear resistance and durability for heavy outdoor use. The GuardKove measures 58 inches long by 25 inches wide and 44.5 inches high, which is longer but slightly narrower and shorter than the QuliMetal's 53 by 27 by 49-inch footprint. It is designed for Weber Genesis II grills rather than Traeger models. You should pick this cover if you prioritize maximum fabric strength over the specific wind-resistant elastic straps found on the QuliMetal. The QuliMetal includes reflective strips and dual air vents to minimize condensation, features not mentioned for the GuardKove. This GuardKove model excludes newer 2022 variants, so verify your grill's generation before buying.

GuardKove 28-Inch Hooded Griddle Cover

The GuardKove 28-Inch Hooded Griddle Cover is designed for Blackstone griddles with hoods, not pellet grills. Its dimensions are 61 inches long by 27.5 inches wide and 33 inches high. This makes it significantly longer than the QuliMetal's 53-inch length but much shorter in height at 33 inches versus 49 inches. It features a hooded design to accommodate the vertical profile of a griddle lid, whereas the QuliMetal is a standard rectangular cover. You should choose this alternative if you own a Blackstone 28-inch griddle with a hood. It lacks the PVC waterproof lining and UV-resistant coating specifications listed for the QuliMetal. The GuardKove focuses on robust fabric and windproof straps for flat-top cooking surfaces. The QuliMetal remains the correct choice for Traeger pellet grills due to its specific 53-inch width and 49-inch height compatibility.

Blackstone 36-Inch Griddle Cover

The Blackstone 36-Inch Griddle Cover is tailored for Blackstone 36-inch griddles and Tailgater models. It measures 67 inches long by 27 inches wide and 25 inches high. This cover is much longer than the QuliMetal's 53-inch length but significantly shorter in height at 25 inches compared to 49 inches. It weighs 5 pounds, providing a substantial feel. The QuliMetal is designed for Traeger pellet grills with a 49-inch height to accommodate the fire pot and hopper. You should select this Blackstone cover if your equipment is a gas griddle. It lacks the specific elastic drawstring closure and reflective strips of the QuliMetal. The QuliMetal offers UV resistance and PVC waterproofing for pellet grills, while this Blackstone model focuses on secure fitment for gas griddle surfaces. The height difference makes the Blackstone cover unsuitable for Traeger grills.

SunPatio 55-Inch Waterproof Grill Cover

The SunPatio 55-Inch Waterproof Grill Cover is designed for standard 3 to 4 burner gas grills. It measures 55 inches long by 23 inches wide and 42 inches high. This is longer than the QuliMetal's 53-inch length but narrower at 23 inches versus 27 inches, and shorter at 42 inches versus 49 inches. It weighs 3.5 pounds. The SunPatio cover offers adjustable straps and handles for securing the cover, similar to the QuliMetal's elastic drawstring. It provides waterproof protection but does not specify the 600D fabric density or PVC lining found in the QuliMetal. You should choose this if you have a standard gas grill rather than a Traeger pellet grill. The QuliMetal is custom-crafted for Traeger Pro 34 and 780 models, ensuring a precise fit that the generic SunPatio cover may not provide for pellet grills.

Blackstone 36-Inch Polyester Griddle Cover

The Blackstone 36-Inch Polyester Griddle Cover is made from 600D polyester, matching the fabric density of the QuliMetal. However, it is designed for Blackstone 36-inch griddles with hoods. Its dimensions are 22 inches long by 6.4 inches wide and 5.1 inches high, which appears to be a packed or folded size description, likely indicating it is much smaller or differently shaped than the QuliMetal. The QuliMetal measures 53 by 27 by 49 inches. This Blackstone cover lacks the PVC waterproof lining and reflective strips of the QuliMetal. It is intended for gas griddles, not pellet grills. You should pick this if you own a Blackstone griddle with a hood. The QuliMetal remains the superior choice for Traeger grills due to its specific 53-inch length and 49-inch height, which accommodate the vertical components of pellet grills that this griddle cover cannot.
