Who it fits

Key specs for this cover

Dimensions: 37.8" Dia x 55.1" H

These measurements define the physical space the cover occupies. You need this exact size to ensure the cover fits your 24-inch Kamado Joe Big Joe without being too loose or tight. A proper fit prevents wind from lifting the cover off. If your grill has side tables, verify the height clearance. This spec helps you avoid buying a cover that is too small for your specific grill model.

Material: 600D Polyester Canvas

The 600D rating indicates a high-density fabric construction. This density provides resistance against tears and abrasions during installation or removal. Polyester canvas is generally more durable than standard thin nylon covers. You benefit from longer lifespan when the cover rubs against rough surfaces or branches. Compare this to lower denier counts if you live in an area with heavy debris or frequent handling.

Waterproof Lining: PU Coating

The polyurethane coating creates a barrier that prevents rain and snow from soaking through to your grill. This protection keeps moisture away from the ceramic body and metal components, reducing rust risk. You do not need to add a separate waterproofing spray. This feature is essential for outdoor storage in wet climates. Check that the coating covers the entire interior surface for complete protection.

Closure Type: Elastic Draw Cords

Dual elastic cords allow you to tighten the cover around the base of your grill. This mechanism secures the cover against wind gusts that might otherwise blow it away. You can adjust the tension to ensure a snug fit around irregular shapes. This feature is critical for outdoor use in open spaces. Compare this to zippered or strap closures if you need a more rigid security method.

Design and build quality

The listing states the cover uses heavy-duty 600D polyester canvas. This fabric density provides a high level of tear resistance. A polyurethane coating lines the material to make it waterproof. You can rely on this construction to keep rain, snow, and hail away from your grill surface. The black finish helps resist fading from sun exposure. This UV protection is important for outdoor equipment that sits outside year-round.

Regarding size, the cover measures 37.8 inches in diameter and 55.1 inches in height. These dimensions are tailored for the 24-inch Kamado Joe Big Joe. It also fits other 26-inch diameter grills with fold-down side tables that are 42 inches high. You must check your grill's specific measurements before ordering to ensure a proper fit. The listing notes that an adjustable fit is key to securing the cover.

For layout, dual heavy-duty elastic draw cords run around the base. This design allows you to tighten the cover around the grill's shape. It keeps the cover securely fastened during windy conditions. Sturdy top handles are included for easy removal and adjustment. You can also use these handles for hanging or storage. A storage bag is provided to keep the cover organized when not in use. Cleaning is simple, as you can hose it down and air dry it.

Setup and everyday use guide

Setting up this cover is straightforward. The listing highlights a dual heavy-duty elastic draw cord design. You adjust these cords to change the circumference. This allows you to secure the cover tightly around the grill lid. The elastic tension keeps the cover in place during windy conditions. A sturdy top handle is included. You use this handle to remove or adjust the cover easily. It also allows you to hang the cover for storage when not in use. The listing notes that a storage bag is provided. This helps you keep the cover tidy when folded. For daily maintenance, the cover is simple to clean. You can hose it down with water. After washing, you air dry it in the sun before putting it away. The waterproof PU coating and UV protection help the material resist fading and wear. This ensures the cover remains effective against rain, hail, snow, dust, leaves, and bird droppings. The 600D polyester canvas offers durability against rips. You should check your grill dimensions before ordering. The 37.8-inch diameter and 55.1-inch height are specific to the 24-inch Kamado Joe Big Joe. It also fits the XL Big Green Egg. Other 26-inch diameter grills with fold-down side tables that are 42 inches high may also fit. Verify your appliance size to ensure proper compatibility. The black color blends into most outdoor settings. The heavy-duty stitching adds to the overall longevity of the product. You get a protective shell that requires minimal effort to maintain.

Before you buy this cover

You already own a large ceramic grill, likely a Kamado Joe Big Joe or a similar 24-inch model. This cover is a protective shell, not a cooking tool. It sits alongside your grill, griddles, and outdoor cooking accessories as essential maintenance gear. Before ordering, verify your appliance’s exact dimensions. The listing notes it fits 26-inch diameter grills with fold-down side tables up to 42 inches high. Your specific model may differ. Check the height of your closed lid. The cover stands 55.1 inches tall. If your setup is taller, it will not fit. Upkeep is minimal. The 600D polyester canvas with PU coating resists water and UV rays. You can hose it down and let it air dry. Use the included storage bag when not in use. This keeps the fabric clean and ready for the next season. It ensures your investment stays protected from rain, hail, and dust throughout the year.

Check before you buy

• Verify your grill is a 24-inch Kamado Joe Big Joe or compatible model.
• Check that your grill height is under 55.1 inches for proper coverage.
• Confirm side tables fold down if your grill is 26 inches in diameter.
• Ensure you have space to store the cover when not in use.
