Who it fits

Weber Master-Touch Cover Key Specs

Dimensions: 29.3" x 52" x 13"

These measurements define the physical footprint of the cover. You need to ensure your grill fits within these limits. The 52-inch width and 29.3-inch length accommodate the circular base of a 22-inch grill. The 13-inch height allows the cover to drape over the lid without excessive slack. Check your grill's exact dimensions before purchasing to avoid a loose fit that lets rain in.

Compatible Appliance: 22" Weber charcoal grills

This cover is engineered specifically for 22-inch Weber charcoal grills. It does not fit other brands or the Smokey Mountain Cooker. If you own a different size or brand, this item will not provide proper protection. Verify your grill model matches this specification. Using a cover designed for a different appliance can leave parts exposed to the elements.

Closure Type: Fastening strap

A fastening strap secures the cover around the base of the grill. This prevents wind from lifting the cover and exposing your equipment. You do not need to tie complex knots or use additional bungee cords. The strap keeps the cover tight and in place during breezy conditions. This simple mechanism ensures consistent protection without adding clutter to your outdoor cooking setup.

UV Protection: UV inhibitors

UV inhibitors are added to the fabric to resist fading from sunlight. This feature extends the life of the cover material. Without this protection, the black fabric might become brittle or discolored over time. This is important for grills stored outdoors in sunny climates. Compare this feature with other covers to ensure you get long-lasting durability against solar damage.

Included Accessories: Cover

The product listing includes only the protective cover itself. It does not come with a grill, tools, or additional hardware. You must already own a compatible 22-inch Weber charcoal grill. This item is an accessory designed to shield your existing equipment. Ensure you are buying the cover separately if you need protection for a grill you already own.

Design and build quality

The listing describes a black fabric cover with UV inhibitors. These additives resist fading when exposed to sunlight. The material is breathable and water resistant. This construction helps shield your grill from rain and moisture without trapping heat. A fastening strap secures the cover in place. This closure type prevents wind from lifting the fabric off your equipment.

According to the listing, the dimensions are 52 inches by 29.3 inches by 13 inches. This specific size is designed to fit 22-inch Weber charcoal grills. It does not fit the Smokey Mountain Cooker or units with a side table. You must verify your grill’s footprint matches these limits. The cover is compatible with the Master-Touch grill without additional side accessories.

The included accessory is the cover itself. The fabric color is black. The model number is 1720001. You can choose from other colors like Slate Blue, Smoke, or Deep Ocean Blue if you prefer a different look. The style options include Grill Only or Grill + Cover. This design ensures a snug fit for standard 22-inch round grills. The breathable fabric allows air circulation, which reduces condensation buildup. The water-resistant property protects the metal parts from direct moisture exposure. This layout makes it suitable for outdoor storage where weather protection is necessary.

Setup and everyday use guide

Setting up this Weber Master-Touch cover involves matching it to your specific grill. The listing confirms it fits 22-inch Weber charcoal grills that do not have a side table attached. It does not fit the Smokey Mountain Cooker, so you must verify your model before use. The cover includes a fastening strap to keep it secure in place during wind or rain. You simply drape the fabric over the grill and tighten the strap. The breathable, water-resistant material helps protect your equipment from the elements. UV inhibitors in the fabric resist fading from sunlight exposure. For daily use, the cover offers practical convenience. You can hang grilling tools like spatulas and tongs on the grill’s tool hooks while the cover is nearby. The design includes a Tuck-Away lid holder on the side. This allows you to slide the grill lid into the holder instead of placing it on the ground. This feature helps keep your workspace cleaner. The cooking grate is hinged, which lets you add charcoal easily. This works with the cover since the lid stays off the ground. The cover is compatible with GBS inserts on the grate. These features combine to make storage and maintenance straightforward. You do not need to remove the cover every time you cook if you use the lid holder. The black fabric blends with most outdoor setups. The included cover ensures your grill stays protected when not in use. This setup requires no tools or complex assembly. You just place it on the grill and secure it.

Before You Buy This Cover

You should verify your grill model before ordering. This cover fits 22-inch Weber charcoal grills without side tables. It excludes the Smokey Mountain Cooker. Check your current setup to ensure compatibility. The fabric includes UV inhibitors to resist fading. This protects the black material from sun damage over time. You must secure the fastening strap to keep the cover in place during wind. Clean the fabric regularly to maintain its water-resistant properties. Dirt can clog the breathable material, reducing its effectiveness. This product belongs in the outdoor cooking category alongside pizza ovens and griddles. It serves as essential protection for your charcoal equipment. Pair it with a grill brush and tools stored on the tool hooks. Regular maintenance extends the life of the cover. Ensure the cover fits snugly to prevent rain from entering. This simple step preserves your grill’s condition.

Check before you buy

• Confirm your grill is a 22-inch Weber charcoal model.
• Ensure your grill lacks a side table attachment.
• Verify your grill is not a Smokey Mountain Cooker.
• Check that the 52-inch width fits your space.
• Inspect the fastening strap for secure wind protection.
