How each alternative compares
i COVER 36-Inch Waterproof Griddle Cover
The i COVER 36-Inch Griddle Cover targets standard 36-inch flat tops, a significant size difference from the compact Pit Boss PB2BGD2. It measures 64 inches long by 22.5 inches wide, offering protection for larger units like Blackstone or Camp Chef models. Like the ZJYWSCH, it uses 600D fabric density for weather resistance. However, it relies on a strap system rather than a side zipper for closure. This cover weighs 3.45 pounds and comes in charcoal. It is a better choice if you own a large outdoor griddle that needs robust, all-weather shielding without the tight fit of a custom-sized cover.
KINGLY 36-Inch 1000D Oxford Griddle Cover
Kingly offers a 1000D Oxford fabric cover for 36-inch griddles, doubling the fabric density of the ZJYWSCH 600D polyester. This provides heavier-duty protection against abrasion and weather for standard flat tops. The dimensions are 67 inches long by 23 inches wide, designed for griddles without hoods. It lacks the side zipper feature found on the ZJYWSCH, meaning you must fully remove it for access. It is ideal for owners of large Camp Chef or Blackstone units who prioritize material thickness and durability over the convenient quick-access zipper of the smaller Pit Boss cover.
M Comnova 64-Inch 600D Griddle Cover
The M Comnova 64-Inch Cover is built for large Char-Griller Flat Iron units, measuring 63.8 inches long by 37.9 inches high. This height accommodates grills with side shelves or hoods, unlike the low-profile ZJYWSCH cover. It shares the 600D fabric density and waterproof rating of the ZJYWSCH model. However, it is significantly larger and heavier, designed for substantial gas griddles. It is not suitable for the compact PB2BGD2. Choose this alternative if you have a large Char-Griller unit and need a cover that accommodates greater vertical clearance and provides targeted protection for a bigger footprint.
M Comnova 600D Camp Chef FTG600 Griddle Cover
This M Comnova cover is specifically engineered for the Camp Chef FTG600, measuring 63.5 inches long by 36 inches high. It uses 600D fabric and offers waterproof protection similar to the ZJYWSCH. The key difference is the closure system; it uses adjustable Velcro straps instead of a side zipper. It is a precise fit for the FTG600 series and will not fit the Pit Boss PB2BGD2. It is the correct choice for Camp Chef owners who need a secure, weather-resistant shield tailored to their specific model dimensions, sacrificing the quick-access zipper feature for a snug, strap-secured fit.
EDIBIN 17 Inch Griddle Cover
The EDIBIN 17-Inch Cover is designed for small tabletop griddles with hoods, a completely different form factor than the Pit Boss PB2BGD2. It measures only 5 inches long by 3 inches wide, making it much more compact. It provides waterproof protection for units like the 17-inch Blackstone tabletop models. Unlike the ZJYWSCH, it is not intended for large, permanent outdoor griddles. It is a practical option for users with portable or counter-top grills who need a durable, weather-resistant cover that takes up minimal storage space when not in use.
Monument Grills 24-Inch Tabletop Griddle Cover
The Monument Grills 24-Inch Cover fits 23-inch tabletop griddles, offering protection for mid-size units. It measures 15.4 inches long by 3.1 inches high, which is larger than the EDIBIN but smaller than the ZJYWSCH. It provides waterproof shielding for gas-powered tabletop griddles. It lacks the side zipper of the ZJYWSCH, requiring full removal for access. It is suitable for owners of 23-inch tabletop units who want simple, effective weather protection. It is not a replacement for the PB2BGD2 cover due to the significant difference in appliance size and intended use case.
